> hi, welcome to my website...?

> how did you end up here anyway?

> anyways, i'm max.

> i built this so i can track all the projects i build while i'm on my journey to become an even slightly better coder.

> but i guess, while you're here, i can tell you who i am.

> i build stuff and i'm a mediocre athlete.

> i make art, i make music, and occasionally i do terrible stand-up.

> enough about me.

> this website is mostly about linking out to the side-projects i'm working on.

> so without further ado, here are the projects:

>Cal Bridge

>Personal Trainer

>Reflecteroo

>Box Breathing

>(Infinite) Tic Tac Toe

> youre still reading, so i guess youre still curious. Alright, so ill give you a quick rundown of what ive gotten up to so far in life:

> when i was a kid, i played the drums and the violin. i ended up winning a few prizes, but ultimately decided talking to girls was more interesting than spending hours playing the violin at home.

> i moved to mobile, alabama and lived in costa rica for half a year when i was 15.

> after finishing high school in austria, i joined the army and became an infantry lieutenant. to this day, i lead a company in the austrian reserve army.

> i went to college and studied finance. i wrote two theses about exotic option pricing and the correlation of inflation on central bank rates.

> i then worked for a startup in berlin, helped them raise $50m as founder associate from mubadal ventures.

> a man always needs a side project, so i founded an organization called "effy" - european founders for youth. We sent founders to school to tell kids they could be more than doctors, lawyers or consultants.

> i went on to spain to do two masters at esade and cems, and then joined jokr — the fastest unicorn at the time (8 months to a $1b valuation).

> i started my own startup, as i was eager to find out what feeling miserable felt like. - the army hadnt sucked enough. raised a round, didnt find PMF, shut it down.

>  Luckily, my Investors were awesome, and one actually offered me a job at World. Sam Altmans project on on distributing UBI.

>my current sideproject, while training to run at least 1 ironman a year, is to run ruined; an electronic music festival.

>if anyone finds out how to make money off of hobbies - please let me know!
